1. Introduction
At Code Moksha, we are committed to delivering high-quality ecommerce development and web development services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for our services and products.
Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services. By making a payment or entering into a service agreement with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.
2. Custom Development Services
2.1 Refund Eligibility
For custom development services (website development, ecommerce solutions, custom applications), refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests may be considered in the following situations:
- We are unable to deliver the agreed-upon services due to technical impossibility
- There has been a significant failure on our part to meet the scope of work as defined in the service agreement
- The project has not commenced, and a cancellation request is made within 48 hours of the initial payment
2.2 Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following circumstances:
- Work has already commenced on your project
- Custom designs, mockups, or code have been delivered to you
- You change your mind about the project scope or design after approval
- Third-party services, licenses, or tools purchased specifically for your project
- You fail to provide necessary materials, feedback, or access required for project completion
- The project timeline is delayed due to your unavailability or lack of response
- You are dissatisfied with work that has been completed according to the agreed specifications
- More than 30 days have passed since the initial payment
2.3 Milestone-Based Projects
For projects with milestone-based payment schedules:
- Payment for completed milestones is non-refundable
- If a project is cancelled, you will only be charged for completed milestones plus any work in progress
- Refunds may be issued for milestones not yet started, minus any setup or planning costs already incurred
3. Digital Products and Licenses
3.1 Software Licenses
For digital products such as software licenses, themes, or plugins:
- Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase
- The product must have a significant defect that prevents its use as described
- We must be unable to resolve the issue through support
- The license has not been activated or downloaded (for some products)
3.2 Non-Refundable Digital Products
The following digital products are non-refundable:
- Products that have been fully downloaded or accessed
- License keys that have been revealed or activated
- Customized or modified versions of products
- Products purchased during promotional sales or with discount codes
4. Consultation Services
For consultation bookings and advisory services:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled consultation are eligible for a full refund
- Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before the consultation are eligible for a 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the consultation are non-refundable
- No-shows without prior cancellation are non-refundable
- We reserve the right to reschedule consultations with at least 24 hours notice, and you may request a full refund if the new time doesn't work for you
5. Refund Request Process
5.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to support@codemoksha.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your order number, invoice number, or transaction ID
- Provide a detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund
- Include any relevant supporting documentation or evidence
5.2 Refund Review Timeline
Once we receive your refund request:
- We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 2 business days
- We will review your request and may contact you for additional information
- A decision will be made within 7-10 business days
- You will be notified of our decision via email
5.3 Refund Processing
If your refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
- Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed
- For payments made via bank transfer, please provide your bank account details for the refund
6. Partial Refunds
In some cases, partial refunds may be issued at our discretion:
- When work has been partially completed on a project
- For unused portions of a service package or subscription
- When third-party costs have been incurred on your behalf
- As a goodwill gesture for service issues or delays caused by us
Partial refund amounts will be calculated based on the work completed, resources used, and time invested in your project.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Chargebacks can be costly and time-consuming for both parties.
Please note:
- Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in termination of services
- If you file a chargeback, we reserve the right to dispute it with evidence of service delivery
- Fraudulent chargebacks may be subject to legal action
- We will always work with you in good faith to resolve any payment disputes
8. Subscription and Recurring Services
For subscription-based or recurring services:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
- No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods
- If you cancel mid-cycle, you will retain access until the end of the paid period
- Refunds for annual subscriptions may be prorated if cancelled within 30 days of purchase
9. Force Majeure
We will not be held liable for delays or non-performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions or restrictions
- Internet or hosting provider outages
- Third-party service failures
- Acts of terrorism or war
In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule services or offer alternative solutions, but refunds may not be automatically granted.

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
